I've been predicting for a while now that cameras will be coming more and more with built-in GPS. This was largely due to some very compelling software I have been looking at like MemoryMiner, that take advantage of coordinate tagging in the photo's metadata.
One of the drawbacks I have envisioned however, is the time it will take for the GPS receiver to come on-line. For example, my Garmin Nuvi 250W takes a good minute to locate and lock in to the satellites. I hope start-up times on the P6000 are shorter, or that coordinate tagging can be done after pictures have been taken. Otherwise many picture opportunities could be lost.
